Two Clayton High School Students to Receive Science Award at UMSL

Two students will be honored Feb. 21 as recipients of the Distinguished Achievement Award for Excellence in Science, a news release states. The invitation-only recognition dinner will happen on the north campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Rachel Han and Harrison Garret will both receive the award. CHS staff selected them for the recognition.

Patricia Parker, chair of the university's biology department, will deliver the keynote address titled, "Managing Diseases in the World's Wild Places."

St. Charles County Executive Steven Ehlmann will present a proclamation to the students and offer his congratulations.
