Centene Foundation Pledges $400,000 for Clayton Sculpture
"Molecular Bloom with Single Flower" will be located in Shaw Park in honor of the city's 100th anniversary in 2013.
A steel-and-bronze sculpture planned for in honor of will be funded with a $400,000 gift from the Centene Charitable Foundation, the city announced Friday in a news release.
The foundation is the philanthropic arm of -based health care company .
The sculpture, between and . Colorado artist James Surls will craft the piece, which is expected to be put in place in the spring of 2013.
