Baby Preps for First Plane Ride: Go West, Young Man
This December, we're getting together for something of a family reunion in Colorado.

Micah will soon get to meet his uncles—my brothers—for the first time.
It will be a welcome homecoming.
As I've probably mentioned previously, I grew up in Colorado. Mom and Dad are still there, as is my sister.
Meanwhile, my brother Chad works in Arizona, and my other brother, Adam, is at college in Nebraska.
So getting together as a collective is a really big deal, and it doesn't happen often.
Julie and I have never taken our son on a plane ride, so we're hopeful his ears remain unscathed as we climb in altitude. We're also hopeful he will be respectful of those around us.
The same goes for the way those seated nearby act toward us.
Either way, we're looking forward to a week of vacation, family time, good memories and food, and laughter.
On Christmas Eve, we'll head back to St. Louis to spend Christmas with my wife's family.
May the holidays you celebrate this season be merry and bright.
I know mine will be.
