Chowdown Showdown Comes to Clayton, Richmond Heights

On Monday, Clayton-Richmond Heights Patch will introduce Chowdown Showdown, a column in which you'll tell us about the best foodie finds in and near and .

The weekly Chowdown Showdown is meant to be a way for readers to pick and vote on their favorite places to get certain entrees in the area. Each week, we will ask you to tell us your favorite place to get a cup of coffee or a burger or breakfast. 

Here's how the feature will unfold each week:

• Monday (8 a.m.): Patch will pose a food-related question—next week, for example, we'll ask you to name your favorite breakfast spot. You'll then answer the question by posting a comment to the article. The submission process will remain open until 5 p.m. Tuesday.
• Wednesday (8 a.m.): We'll post a poll naming the top three finalists. Then it will be time to vote again—this time for the Chowdown Showdown champion. Voting will continue through 5 p.m. Thursday.
• Friday (8 a.m.): The winner of that week's Chowdown Showdown is announced.
