City of Richmond Heights Approves 2013-14 Budget

The budget includes a cost of living increase for city employees.

The Richmond Heights City Council Monday approved the city's proposed 2013-14 budget. The budget includes a 2 percent cost of living increase for employees.

The cost of living increase applies to newer hires and those on Step 10 of the city's pay plan. 

Other employees will be eligible for a merit increase.The cost of living increase would be the first granted by the city since 2009-10. The city council approved a first read of the budget ordinance in May.
