When it comes to local leaf pickup, city crews were running behind schedule this week, according to a community alert.

CLAYTON, MO -- When it comes to local leaf pickup, city crews were running behind schedule this week, according to a community alert.

Those coordinate the service were one to two days behind as of Thursday, the notice said.

"We have been working over nine hours a day during the week and have been working weekends to get back on schedule," officials said. "We apologize for any convenience this may cause."
