Clayton's Bernstein Siblings Launch National Youth Volunteerism Website
Simone and Jake Bernstein introduced StLouisVolunteen.com at the local level nearly three years ago.

siblings Simone and Jake Bernstein on Tuesday expanded their youth volunteerism offerings online with the launch of VolunteenNation.com.
Their earlier website, StLouisVolunteen.com, became available to young people seeking community volunteer opportunities in July 2009.
“Volunteen Nation will help promote organizations throughout the nation that have programs for youth. Kids want to get engaged in the community, and organizations need to understand the benefits of youth volunteers,” Simone, 20, stated in a news release. “Youth volunteers have the time, the energy, the dedication and the motivation to volunteer in the community. Our hope is to have all organizations and corporate American realize the importance and value of establishing and marketing youth volunteer programs.”

The pair's goal is to engage more than 72 million young people in community volunteerism, the release states. They are challenging all U.S. organizations and businesses to post a teen volunteerism opportunity to their website within 100 days.
Both Simone and Jake, 18, have been honored on numerous occasions for their service.
“We are generation on, ready to take action, and dive into solving problems in the community,” Jake stated in the release. “We have duties as citizens in the world. Some of them start before 18-years-old. One of them is volunteering. Anyone can volunteer at any age. Everyone can make a difference.”
