Clayton's Microgrid Installs Car-Charger for Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union

It happened in December. The device is the first of its kind in Missouri.

-based has installed a charging station for electric vehicles at a Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union location in St. Louis. It marks the first station of its kind in Missouri, the company announced Wednesday in a news release.

“Installing the charging station is just one step in the credit union’s initiative to ‘go green,’" stated Dave Osborn, the credit union's president and chief executive. "As consumers try to save resources and limit their carbon footprint, we feel the charging station is a great way for our members and non-members to charge their electric vehicle while promoting environmental responsibility.”

Installation happened in December on the building's west side.

The station offers:

  • Two fast-charging connectors
  • Internet connectivity, allowing it to be located using computers and smartphones
  • Data collection about energy use, emissions and fuel savings
  • Connection to a smart grid
  • Controlling access for credit union officials

Campbell, CA-based Coulomb Technologies produces the ChargePoint Charging Station.
