Clayton Storm Causes Transformer to Spark

The incident Tuesday caused no damage, a Clayton fire official said.

A transformer sparked early Tuesday in Clayton as a result of a storm, a fire official said.

It happened at 2 a.m. in an alley behind a building at 520 S. Hanley Rd., Battalion Chief Norman Buehre of the 's A-Crew said.

Wind and hail caused the sparking, which resulted in no damage, he said.
