Clayton to Consider Expansion of Outdoor Dining Hours

The Clayton Board of Aldermen meet tonight.

The Clayton Board of Aldermen is slated to meet Tuesday at Clayton City Hall.

The board work session begins at 6:15 p.m. Items on the agenda include:

  • Presentation from Great Rivers Greenway on Proposition P.
  • Presentation by SWT on the Shaw Park Master Plan Overlay Project.
  • 2012 Plan Commission/ARB Annual Report.

  • Resolution – To approve authorization to accept a donation of funds. To consider the acceptance of a donation for the Fire Department’s “Heart to Heart Program” for the purchase of advanced medical equipment, supplies and specialized training for the Fire Department personnel.
  • Ordinance - To approve a condominium plat for 8002 Davie Drive and 701 S. Meramec Ave. To consider an application from Joseph and Gail Welsch, owners, for a condominium plat.
  • Ordinance – To approve a contract for the Pedestrian Enhancement Project FY2013. Through funding from the East-West Gateway STP grant program streetscape will be installed in specific locations on Bonhomme Ave., S. Bemiston Ave. S. Meramec Ave., S. Central Ave., and Shaw Park Dr. A bid opening was held on Feb. 27, 2013, Gershenson Construction submitted the lowest bid of $1,279,464.40.
  • Ordinance – To approve a contract for the ADA Transition Plan. To consider a contract with Cole & Associates to study the existing conditions of pedestrian access routes in the public rights-of-ways and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Ordinance – To approve a project agreement for funding of the dog park. A project agreement with the Clayton Century Foundation for funding related to the creation of a dog park at Anderson Park (formerly Haddington Court).
  • Ordinance – To approve a conceptual development agreement for the Shaw Park Multi-Use Facility Conceptual Design. A project agreement with the Clayton Century Foundation for the creation of a conceptual design for a Shaw Park Multi-Use Facility to serve as an ice rink and also a site for off-season functions throughout the year. 
  • Ordinance – To approve a contract for custodial services. To consider approving a three year custodial services contract to clean the new Police Station/Municipal Building at 10 S. Brentwood, City Hall at 10 N. Bemiston and the Municipal Garage at 8300 Shaw Park Drive.
  • Resolution – To approve the expanded Outdoor Dining program. To consider approving an extension for an expansion of the outdoor dining season beginning May 1 through Nov. 15, 2013.
