Clayton Vodka Maker Expands Distribution to Eight States
PURUS Vodka is a product of Pure Holdings, whose office is located on South Meramec Avenue.
Clayton-based Pure Holdings will expand the distribution of its PURUS Vodka to eight states this month, the company announced Monday in a news release.
Production of the Italy-imported organic wheat vodka began a year ago this month. The beverage will be available in Illinois, Texas, North Carolina and New Mexico, in addition to the states that already offered it—Missouri, Arizona, Florida and Ohio.
"The response to PURUS Vodka this past year has been overwhelming and well beyond our expectations," stated John Giarrante, president of Pure Holdings, in the release. "Wholesalers, retailers and consumers have contacted us from around the country and internationally, so we're doing our best to address the demand and strategically grow the brand with wholesaler partners that provide us with the best chance for success."
The beverage has received numerous accolades, including a gold medal at the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits competition and a favorable review last year in Forbes magazine.
