, part of the , is seeking donations of gently used items for babies and children as part of the Clayton Kids ReSale project.
Donations may be dropped off at the gym doors of the former Maryland Elementary School, 7501 Maryland Ave., between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Oct. 15; Saturday, Nov. 12; and Saturday, Dec. 10.
All donations of the following items are tax-deductible:
- Toys
- Sports equipment
- Furniture
- Strollers
- Pack 'n plays
- High chairs
- Car seats
- Clothing
- Shoes
- Books
- DVDs
- CDs
The organizers request that no stuffed animals be donated.
Those unable to make it to a donation drop-off are asked to make other arrangements through Tanya Hayden by calling 314-712-0392 or emailing tanya.m.hayden@gmail.com.
The items will be sold during a pre-sale event from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 18 and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 19.
All proceeds fund scholarships at the Family Center.
