Federal Jury Indicts 4 Accused In Richmond Heights Jewelry Heist
Four Michigan men were indicted this week for allegedly robbing a Richmond Heights jewelry store in early December.

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO -- Four Michigan men were indicted this week for allegedly robbing a Richmond Heights jewelry store in early December.
Tray Gray, 20; Darrell Lee, 20; Xavier Grove, 33; and Robert Scott, 29; were each indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury on one felony count each of robbery, according to a STL News report. Police say the group is behind a Dec. 4 smash-and-grab job at Jared the Gallery of Jewelry located at 21 The Boulevard in Richmond Heights.
"At least one of the men told employees to get on the ground and then smashed the jewelry cases with a hammer, stealing loose diamonds and several watches," reported KMOV. "Police valued the stolen diamonds at $59,375, but did not provide an estimate on the value of the watches."

The STL News story included the fact that several police officers in the area at the time of the robbery who pursued and arrested the suspects. The stolen property was reportedly recovered.
