- Missouri's Sales Tax Holiday Weekend is this week. If you are doing back-to-school shopping the weekend of Aug. 2-4, the State of Missouri waives sales tax on many items. For more information, see our previous story.
- The Richmond Heights Police will hold a walk and talk on Terrace Drive Wednesday from 7-8 p.m.
- Clayton's Ward II aldermen will hold their monthly Ward II coffee from 4-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Starbucks on Wydown.
- Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal will hold a constituent help sessionon Sunday, Aug. 4, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at University City Public Library (6701 Delmar Blvd., University City 63130).
- The SLIFF/Kids - Cinema St. Louis’ free family event continues this weekend. The First Annual St. Louis International Children’s Film Festival will offer film programs, camps, and a workshops Aug. 2-4. Many of the events will be held at Washington University.
