Given the recent heat, residents might consider landscaping with drought-tolerant plants. That's one recommendation from an online article by the city's park operations crew.
Quoting from the City of Richmond Heights article:
"Extreme weather experienced in our area since last winter has shortened the normal growth cycle for plants and trees in our area by four to six weeks."
