Lisa Jackson-Terry Named Principal at Meramec Elementary School
She will begin her new role in the School District of Clayton on July 1.

Former schools employee Lisa Jackson-Terry will return this fall as the new principal of , the announced Friday morning in a news release.
She succeeds Annette Isselhard, who is retiring from education after five years as Meramec’s principal.
"I am delighted to once again be joining such a highly-impressive group of educators who are deeply committed to the success of each and every member of their community: students, staff and parents,” Jackson-Terry stated. “Moreover, I look forward to becoming a member of the team at Meramec and doing my part of the work that enables this District to be such a great place to cultivate life-long learning for all.”
She will become principal effective July 1.
Jackson-Terry served for seven years as a speech language pathologist for the Clayton district. After that, she spent two years as an area coordinator for the . She then served for three years as principal at Holman Elementary School in the .
She holds master's degrees in both K-8 administration and communication disorders, and a bachelor's in audiology and speech language pathology.
“We are looking forward to Lisa returning to Clayton in a new role as principal of Meramec Elementary School,” Interim Superintendent Sharmon Wilkinson stated. “Her educational experiences and commitment to student learning will make her an asset to the learning community at Meramec as well as the District’s team of administrators.”
