Police Spot Man Concealing Gun in Pocket

Clayton Police said they found Christopher Jones with a handgun in his pocket when they responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of South Hanley Road.

An Overland man is accused of illegally concealing a weapon near a home in the 300 block of South Hanley Road in Clayton.

Christopher Jones, 29, of the 10200 block of Canter Way in Overland, was charged Feb. 21 with unlawful use of a weapon.

Clayton Police reported that officers responding to a disturbance April 20, 2011 in the 300 block of South Hanley Road found Jones with his hands in his pockets and a bulge in his left pocket. When they searched him, they found a loaded handgun, a 9 mm Ruger, in his pocket.

Bail has been set at $10,000 for Jones.
