Man Who Rode Home From Jail in Stolen Golf Cart Fails to Show in Court

An arrest warrant has been issued for Richard Blome, who police said stole a golf cart and drove it 12 miles to his South County home.

A man accused of stealing a Center of Clayton golf cart for a ride home from jail is wanted once again.

St. Louis County Associate Circuit Court Judge Mary Bruntrager Schroeder issued a warrant for Richard Blome’s arrest May 14 after he failed to appear for a court date April 18. Once Blome is in custody, the judge ordered him to be held without bond.

Blome was charged in August with stealing a motor vehicle.
