Moms Talk: Should Parents Risk Sending Kids Abroad?

Should St. Louis parents feel comfortable sending their children to study overseas in light of the Amanda Knox case?

This week, we're asking St. Louis parents to weigh in on the issue of studying abroad.

U.S. resident Amanda Knox spent four years in an Italian prison before being acquitted recently. Similarly, U.S. students in the past have been imprisoned in places such as Iran.

So onto this week's question: In light of those cases, should parents reconsider letting their sons and daughters study abroad? And to what degree can Americans count on legal help in the event that something like this were to happen to them?
