This week's question for St. Louis parents involves opposing ideologies about student athletics.
Suppose your daughter, age 9, comes home from school and says she wants to play soccer for the U.S. World Cup team some day. She plans to play the sport year-round, indoors and out.
But you think it would be much wiser to diversify the sports—soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter and perhaps softball in the spring. She will have none of that.
So onto this weeks' question: How do you approach the situation?
