Objects Texture St. Louis Artist's Paintings

Marian Steen is an artist who uses an array of items to texture her paintings, KSDK Channel 5 reports. Her work will be on display this weekend as part of the Saint Louis Art Fair in .

Quoting from KSDK:

"You see, she just sees things differently than the rest of us. For example, we see salt as something that adds flavor to food, she sees it as something that adds texture to her painting."
