Taste of Clayton, Now in 18th Year, Planned June 3

Guests can sample food from 15 of the city's restaurants, enjoy live music and more on Brentwood Boulevard.

The 18th annual Taste of Clayton is planned June 3 along the section of Brentwood Boulevard between Forsyth Boulevard and Maryland Avenue.

"There is no admission fee, and as always, we are looking forward to a great crowd," stated Clayton event specialist Janet LeMay in a news release.

Fifteen of the city's restaurants will offer cuisine for between $2 and $7 during the event, which runs from 1 to 8:30 p.m.:

Canned goods benefiting will be collected. Attendees who give five cans or $5 can enter to win prizes.

From 2 to 7:30 p.m., children can participate in Taste Jr., a kids area featuring food, balloon artists, face-painting, a circus workshop and more.

St. Louis-based DJ Crucial, American Idle and Griffin & the Gargoyles will perform during the afternoon and evening.
