The following narrative was provided by the Pattonville School District:
students and staff raised more than $5,100 for the American Heart Association through its Jump Rope for Heart program. The school far exceeded its goal of raising $2,500, which meant Principal Montize Aaron had to come through on a promise to let students duct tape him to the wall. Throughout their efforts, students also learned about the importance of being physically fit and how that benefits their hearts. The school also earned $400 in certificates to purchase new equipment for students.
