A man was charged Wednesday with stealing a 2006 Lexus GX470 from in Creve Coeur. said Ronnie Higginbotham, 45, of Dixon, MO gave Lexus a check for $28,432 to pay for the car May 14. However, the check was written on a closed account. Police said Higginbotham knew the account was closed. Higginbotham was being held Friday in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
