The Washington Wizards announced Wednesday that rookie guard Bradley Beal will miss the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his right leg. Beal, a 2011 Chaminade graduate who left the University of Florida after his freshman year for the NBA, will be able to resume basketball activities in six weeks,<a href="http://www.nba.com/wizards/beal-miss-remainder-season" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> according to a team statement.</a> Beal finishes his first NBA season averaging 13.9 points, 3.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. Prior to the injury, he missed a total of 18 games with ankle, back and wrist injuries. The Wizards are 28-46 on the season.
