De Smet Graduates Another Class of Spartans

graduated the 42nd class of Spartans in ceremonies Sunday, first during a baccalaureate brunch at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel and later in graduation exercises held at Cathedral Basilica.

• 257 graduates
• 78 members of the National Honor Society
• 79 percent of the class was offered a total of 1,031 scholarships, totaling $28.1 million, the highest total in school history.
• 42 Missouri Bright Flight Scholars

At the brunch, Josh Pribe gave his Valedictory Speech, earned with a 5.06 grade point average. The school also honored students and faculty who were selected in some cases by faculty and by fellow students for their compassion, their embodiment of Jesuit education, leadership and service.
