Election Results: Barry Glantz Elected The Next Mayor of Creve Coeur

The race featured two veterans of city government and former members of city council and the planning and zoning commission.

Barry Glantz was elected to serve as Creve Coeur's next Mayor Tuesday, defeating Laura Bryant by a Β 2,174 (56.25 percent) - 1,685 (43.60 percent)Β vote margin to end a lengthy campaign, which began in earnest prior to municipal elections in April 2011.

The two candidates, both former city council members and planning and zoning commissioners, have been campaigning for the office for more than a year.

Harold Dielmann is retiring after his second stint in office due to term limits.
