Community Corner
Football, Pancakes & Porsches
Looking for something fun to do that's close to home here in Creve Coeur? We've got some weekend ideas.

- The Ellisville Community Farmers Market continues Thursday in Bluebird Park, with fresh produce and hand-crafted items available starting at 4 p.m.
- Starting Thursday at 5:30 p.m., you can take advantage of hayrides around Bluebird Park and sample roasted hot dogs and marshmallows.
- Friday, there's an American Legion Fish fry in Manchester.
- There's a full slate of high school football this weekend, highlighted by Parkway North heading to Parkway Central, De Smet Jesuit hosting SLUH, Chaminade hosting CBC on Friday at 7 p.m., and Ladue facing Affton in the homecoming game Saturday at 1 p.m.
- If music is your thing, then head to Schroeder Park in Manchester Friday night, with Scott Laytham & Karl "Trickee" Holmes Duo. The event, which includes a bonfire, is open to people age 21 and older.
- If you're a car guy or gal, and you want to check out the 2014 Porsche Panamera, head over to Plaza Motor Company Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m., where you can see the car and have some free pancakes.
