Got Drugs? Police Plan 'No Questions Asked' Rx Drop-Off Saturday
Creve Coeur Police are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency as part of a nationwide initiative.

Law enforcement agencies around the country and here in Creve Coeur are offering to help with spring-cleaning this weekend.
Saturday,Β Creve Coeur PoliceΒ and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are hosting a prescription drug take-back day.

Americans participating in DEAβs four previous Take-Back Days turned in nearly 1.6 million poundsβalmost 774 tonsβof prescription drugs, most recently at almost 5,700 sites operated by nearly 4,300 of the DEAβs local law enforcement partners. DEAβs last event collected more than double the pills as their first event two years ago, with almost 50% more participating agencies and sites this past April than in September of 2010.
Anyone wishing to dispose of old or unwanted prescription medication can drop it off in the rear parking lot at theΒ Creve Coeur Government CenterΒ between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The event is completely anonymous and police said theyβre taking a βno questions askedβ approach.
