Update: Car Hits Apartment Complex, Driver Arrested and Charged With DWI

The driver of a sport utility vehicle who crashed into the Kings Landing Apartment complex before midnight Tuesday was arrested and charged with municipal violations of DWI and Driving Too Fast For Conditions.

Police say at approximately 11:20 Mary Mars was drivin a GMC Envoy when it struck the south side of King's Landing, impacting one apartment unit. No one inside the apartment was hurt.

Poice said the Creve Coeur Building Department found no structural concerns with the building after the crash.
