Letter From The Principal: About 'Spring' Break
Bellerive Elementary School's Jami Debosch reflects on the growth of her students.

Itβs hard to believe that we are getting ready to βSpring Forward!β It does not feel like we have had much of a Winter. I know that these past few weeks, students have felt that βSpring is in the air.β Many have pulled out their shorts and t-shirts again. They are excited to burst out ofΒ the school doors for recess.
I canβt help but think about how the kids have "Sprung Up!" It has been awesome to observe the growth your child has made this school year. Some of them were so timid as they walked in the front door on the first day, and now they might be seen giving a tour of the school. I have watched leaders emerge and take on roles they would never have thought possible before this year. Our students are now thinking about how they can make the world a better place.
I love Spring because it is literally a time of growth and rebirth. The flowers are blooming, birds shed their winter shyness and the sunrise begins a new routine, awakening us once again each morning. Spring Break is also just around the cornerβtruly a time to do some βSpring Cleaningβ and reflect on all the progress you have seen your child make this year. It is a great time to renew your energy to help your child have a great end of the school year. April and May go so quickly. Please ask you child to share with you things that have "sprung anew" this year.
Happy Spring Break!
