Man Arrested for Creve Coeur Car Break-ins

Creve Coeur Police said witnesses spotted the man breaking into cars on a medical building parking lot Thursday.

A man was charged with breaking into two cars in parking lot and stealing medication and electronics on Thursday.

Corey Gaulding, 23, of Warrenton, was charged Friday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with stealing a controlled substance and stealing.

said that Gaulding broke into two cars in a medical building parking lot at 450 New Ballas Road and stole an alprazolam prescription bottle with 20 pills and a GPS unit. One well-known brand name for alprazolam is Xanax.

Police said in a report that several witnesses saw Gaulding going through the cars and contacted police, and said he broke into at least three cars. The prescription bottle and GPS unit were found in his car, according to the report.

Bond was set at $25,000.
