A new pastor takes the helm at Monday after what has been a turbulent summer for the Creve Coeur parish community. Fr. John Brennell arrives from St. Joseph in Imperial, Mo, in time for an evening service for the Holy Day service for the Feast of St. Monica, the church's patron saint. Brennell succeeds the late Dennis Doerhoff, Fr. Don Anstoetter, who was named as the congregation's Temporary Associate Pastor after Doerhoff's death, departs for Rome next week to continue his theological studies.
