Breaking News! Olivette Patch launches this Thursday. This is the first new stand-alone Patch site to be added to the St. Louis lineup since 24 were launched almost two years ago. Why? We felt this would be a good service to community and it just fits. We are always looking at new and different ways to bring this style of hyperlolocal news. Olivette makes a lot of sense for Patch. This inner-ring community of some 7,500 residents is a very nice play to live, work and play. Public school children attend Ladue Schools, already served by Ladue-Frontenac and Creve Coeur Patch. Olivette and Creve Coeur share a Chamber of Commerce. And then there's the joint planning for the future of the I-I70 corridor with University City.
