Senior Darrell Johnson is wrapping up a two day visit to Virginia Tech Friday, and while there, he tweeted Friday, "It's a great day to be a Hokie."  He told Patch via Twitter that he had not made a verbal commitment, just that he was "quoting the natives." The official period for eligible athletes to sign binding letters of intent begins April 11.  Johnson, is also being courted by Memphis and was considering a visit there before making a decision. Johnson averaged 16 points and nearly 12 rebounds a game for Parkway North as the Vikings won their first District title in school history this past season.
