For the second year in a row, students are doing their part to help make sure girls who want to go to the prom but can't afford a dress have that opportunity. The school hosted a fundraiser Tuesday night in cooperation with the <a href="http://cinderellastl.homestead.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Metro St. Louis Cinderella Project</a>, an agency which in 2011 helped send 150 girls to the prom with a free dress, alterations, hair and makeup. More than a dozen students wowed in outfits under categories like "Sparkle &amp; Shine", "Fancy &amp; Funky" and "Short &amp; Sassy". Students also entertained in the intermissions with a mix of beat box and a capella vocal stylings. The public brought dresses in lieu of a $5 admission charge with the goal of gathering 200 dresses by April 5.
