Parkway North Students Strut Cinderella Stuff
The school held a fashion show Tuesday to benefit the Metro St. Louis Cinderella Project.
For the second year in a row, students are doing their part to help make sure girls who want to go to the prom but can't afford a dress have that opportunity.
The school hosted a fundraiser Tuesday night in cooperation with the Metro St. Louis Cinderella Project, an agency which in 2011 helped send 150 girls to the prom with a free dress, alterations, hair and makeup.
More than a dozen students wowed in outfits under categories like "Sparkle & Shine", "Fancy & Funky" and "Short & Sassy".

Students also entertained in the intermissions with a mix of beat box and a capella vocal stylings.
The public brought dresses in lieu of a $5 admission charge with the goal of gathering 200 dresses by April 5. If you missed the event but want to help, you can drop off a dress in room 1603 at Parkway North High School.
