Participate 2012: Three File For Parkway School Board Race By Deadline

Last-minute filing by a Ballwin woman means it's a race on April 3.

The Board of Education race in got a third candidate Tuesday, the last day to file, providing a challenger to the two incumbents on the seven-member board.

Kim Applebaum joined the race against incumbents Beth Feldman and Helen Casteel. The trio will vie for two spots on the board.

District officials said the challenger is not related to , a current Parkway Board of Education director who lives near Creve Coeur.

Kim Applebaum is a Ballwin resident and Maritz IT Contract Manager, with two children in and High schools.
