Reports: Lee Serving As Lin Landlord
Former Chaminade star David Lee is subletting a New York City area apartment to a new-found NBA sensation.
David Lee, the former basketball standout who left his first NBA home in New York to play for the Golden State Warriors before last season, has apparently held onto his real estate holdings near the Big Apple.
Now, according to the New York Daily News, Lee is renting out his White Plains apartment in to Jeremy Lin, the out-of-nowhere New York Knicks Guard who has taken the basketball world by storm with clutch performances on the sport's biggest stage.
Lin recently told reporters he was sleeping on his brother's couch, unsure of how long he'd be in New York after he was signed to essentially sit on the end of the Knicks' bench. Now, after averaging 27 points and 9 assists over his last five games and earning a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated, his immediate future seems a little more assured.
