If you're looking for some things to do this weekend near Creve Coeur, we've got some suggestions that could help you, your wallet, and someone else.

We're normally trying to find some fun things for you to do with your weekend in this space. This week, we're sharing some ways you can make a difference too.
1. Congregation B’nai Amoona is hosting a bone marrow registry drive Friday afternoon to benefit Meredith Littlejohn, who according to The Jewish Light, was diagnosed with leukemia in November 2012. A cheek swab will help add you to the donor registry.

3. Speaking of Back To School, the St. Louis Rams are hosting the team's annual fan fest downtown at the Edward Jones Dome, where people are being encouraged to bring items for Push For Pencils school supplies drive. Donors will be eligible for prizes, including tickets to games this season.
4. If you register by August 1, you can get a break on tickets to a fun day Sunday at Six Flags. Check out more info from the Jewish Federation.
5. Are you a bookworm or a poet and maybe don't know it? You can meet poet and author Melanie Whithaus this Saturday in Creve Coeur.
