Two People Rescued From Balcony In Creve Coeur Apartment Fire

Two-alarm fire called due to the extreme heat in the area.

The confirms that a fire at an apartment complex located at 12325 Wild Turkey Court, near Olive and Tempo, has been beaten down, but not before two people needed to be rescued from a balcony.

Fire officials are still investigating and won't identify what caused the flames on the floor of a second story stairwell balcony. Firefighters used a ladder truck for the rescue, but said there were no injuries.

The American Red Cross was on scene providing aid for first responders. The fire will not displace residents from the apartment.
