Eureka Police Release Teen Seat Belt Enforcement Results
Despite evidence proving the benefits of wearing a seat belt, 33 percent of teens do not buckle up. Eight out of 10 Missouri teens killed in traffic crashes are unbuckled.

Eureka Police Department officers participated in the statewide youth seat belt mobilization conducted March 15β31.Β
During the enforcement effort, officers issued a total of 75 traffic tickets including:
- 4 seat belt tickets
- 32 speeding ticketsΒ
- 36 other traffic violations.Β
Eight fugitive and three drug-related arrests also were made as a result of the crackdown, according to local authorities.
