As you celebrate the Fourth of July this summer, some businesses and government agenciesΒ will close for the holiday.

Patch has pulled together a list of what weΒ found to be open and closed Thursday in the Eureka and Wildwood area. And thanks in advance to all of those who will spend part of the Fourth of July keeping the rest of usΒ safe and well-supplied!Β

U.S. Postal Service:

Post offices are closed and mail will not be delivered Thursday, but the postal service schedule resumes with offices open and mail delivered on Friday.

Wildwood Family YMCA

Open 8 a.m.-noon Thursday.

Six Flags St. Louis

Open regular business hours, 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. for the theme park and 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. for the water park.

Schnucks:

Open regular business hours.

Dierbergs:

Open regular business hours

Walgreens:

Open regular business hours.

St. Louis County Library:

Branches will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.

St. Louis Zoo:

Open 8 a.m.-7 p.m Thursday.

Holiday Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste Schedules

In observance of the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday, service days will be changed from their scheduled day to the day following. If a resident's service is normally scheduled for Thursday, Thursday's pickup will be on Friday, and Friday's pickup will be on Saturday. Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s service will remain the same.
