Jefferson County Woman Accused of Phoning in Phony Prescriptions in Eureka
Eureka Police Department officers said the woman had information from a physician that allowed her to submit prescriptions to a pharmacy.
A Jefferson County woman faces criminal charges after police said she used a doctor’s information to illegally obtain prescription medication from a Eureka pharmacy.
Kathleen Siebert, 52, of the 7000 block of Marble Arch Lane in Jefferson County near Cedar Hill, was charged last Friday with three counts of fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance.
Eureka Police said Siebert called in prescriptions to Schnuck’s Pharmacy in Eureka using a physician's DEA number. Siebert called into the pharmacy and obtained prescriptions for Floricet between Dec. 31 and May 1, for alprazolam between April 30 and May 28, and for lorazepam on May 18.

Bail was set at $15,000 for Siebert.
