Eureka is getting closer to having a Jimmy John's gourmet sandwich shop. Depending on final inspections from Jimmy John's corporate staff, St. Louis County and Eureka officials, this could be the week the shop franchisees get the green light to open.

Brothers Kevin and Dan Morrell said they are eager to start the operations. Approximately 30 employees have been hired for the new shop.
