St. Louis Ranks 4th Most Romantic City

Foursquare, the social media check-in site, ranked the most and least romantic cities in the United States. Are these results surprising? Where would Eureka and Wildwood rank among St. Louis cities for romanticism?

St. Louis is the fourth most romantic city in the United States, according to Foursquare, a social media site established in 2009 to enable location-based social networking for mobile devices, such as smartphones.

Foursquare works by letting users "check in," or upload their location, so others can see where they are. Based on 1.5 billion check-ins—especially to romantic places such as wine bars and flower shops—Foursquare named 10 cities to be the most romantic.

St. Louis is one of them!
