Northwest HS Teens To Compete in Talent Showcase
Six Northwest High School students will try to sing, act, play or perform their way to the top at the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition.
Northwest High school students will compete next weekend in the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase Competition to earn thousands of dollars in scholarships.
 Six students from Northwest High School have signed up to be part of the 119 acts in the competition. Molly Fowler and Annabelle Gynard will perform a musical theater number, and Megan Wallace, Brandon Simpson, Brandon Janssen and Elliot Fischer will perform as actors, singers, comedians and pianists.
The preliminary rounds on March 10 and 11 will narrow the field down to about 30 acts. The final 12 will perform at The Fabulous Fox Theater on April 27.

The first, second and third place winners earn $7,000, $5,000 or $3,000 in scholarships, respectively. Other universities and organizations, such as Lindenwood University or The Muny, are also offering scholarships and prizes.
