Olde Towne Fenton DAR Chapter Initiative to "Keep our Vets Warm"

Olde Towne Fenton DAR Chapter donates new scarves, gloves, hats, socks and/or coats for Homeless Veterans

Members of the Olde Towne Fenton (OTF) Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, were pleased to recently contribute winter apparel for homeless Veterans under an initiative, "Keep our Vets Warm," created, planned and chaired by OTF member, Mary Lea Bommarito. Members donated new scarves, gloves, hats, socks and/or coats, which were then delivered to John Wilsman for Hope Recovery Center, part of the VA St. Louis Health Care System.

The Olde Towne Fenton Chapter is one of 3,000 chapters worldwide. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism. Its members are descended from the patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War. With more than 190,000 members, DAR is one of the world's largest and most active service organizations.
