One Injured in I-44 Crash at Bowles Avenue
A teenager was standing up in a car as it traveled eastbound, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

A 15-year-old passenger was injured in a car accident on Interstate 44 last week.
Olivia Rademacher, of St. Louis, was standing up in a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle driven by 16-year-old Darby Donovan, of Fulton, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Rademacher lost her balance and grabbed the steering wheel. The Beetle traveled across eastbound traffic lanes and struck the left side of a semi truck. The semi came to a stop at the ramp to Bowles Avenue, blocking the ramp.
The crash ruptured the semi's fuel tank, according to the report. Rademacher was transported to St. Claire Medical Center with minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported. Both the driver of the Beetle and the semi were wearing seatbelts, according to the report.
