Back to School is the Name of the Game This Week

We know there is plenty going on in Florissant this week that isn't back to school related. Still, this week's rundown is mostly about when the kids resume school.

  1. There are only 8 days remaining until both Hazelwood and Ferguson-Florissant school districts begin school. 
  2. There is a Hazelwood School District Board of Education meeting on Tuesday. Will you be attending? It starts at 6:30 p.m.
  3. Scholarship Bowl-A-Thon: The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its 2013 Scholarship Bowl-A-Thon on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Proceeds from the Scholarship Bowl fund the Chamber's Scholarship program that annually awards scholarships to area high school seniors.
  4. Residents are discussing the Ferguson-Florissant Tax Levy on a Florissant Patch board post. Do you support it?
  5. The Ferguson-Florissant School District will be hosting a back to school fair on Saturday, Aug. 10. Not to be confused wit the Hazelwood School District's back to school event that was on Saturday.
