Nancy Quade, who owns the yarn shop in the Myer House, said that she and her employees have encountered a lady in a long dress, who they call Mrs. Myer.Β
Quade said Mrs. Myer has helped customers by taking fabric downstairs as well as taken a hidden paper from her to have it appear in plainview the next day. In addition, her husband, who helps with repairs in the shop, has had his tools disappear and reappear in another room.
Although some ghosts might be seen as harmful, Quade doesn't believe so.
"She doesn't do anything malicious," she said. "There's always just a little bit of humor with it. We assume she's happy here and likes what we're doing here."
